"A wedding is a very special day and choosing a marquee service was critical to its success. Right from the start Mike and his team provided us with excellent advice and support on how to make the day go well. The installation and setup of the marquee was extremely professional and Mike had all avenues covered leaving us stress free and able to concentrate on all the other tasks before the event. The end result was a wonderful marquee area which looked fantastic. They also provided the toilets, tables, chairs, stage and the bar. Everything was just perfect for our day. On the day Mike was around to make sure everything was going well and even provided a heater just in case the Aberdeenshire weather turned bad. After the big day the team returned and removed all the equipment and within a matter of hours the wedding area (a nature reserve) was returned to its former glory with no evidence of the 140+ person wedding a few days before. "I write on behalf of “Fiona’s Garden Party” Fundraiser Committee. This committee was set up by my friend Fiona Black, who was in a serious car accident and spend many weeks in hospital. Fiona felt that her time in ARI would have been a lot easier if she was able to access some outdoor space. As a committee we decided to organise a large outdoor fun day on Sunday 19 May 2013 at Haughton Park, Alford, to raise funds for Aberdeen Royal Infirmary’s Therapeutic Roof Garden. We had only 10 weeks to organise this event and had no money in the bank! From my first contact with Mike at Craigievar Marquees, I found him to be friendly, very helpful and accommodating to our needs. He didn’t hesitate to offer when asked if he would be able to provide us with a large marquee, tables and chairs on the day. Mike and his staff also gave up their time to dismantle (this marquee was already out on loan somewhere else on the Saturday!) and erect the marquee on the Sunday morning – all before 10am! The marquee was erected in no time at all, with no fuss or noise, they also came back after the event to dismantle it. We have raised so far an astonishing £20,370 – with £16,500 of this being raised on the day of the Garden Party. "Mike and his team were contracted to supply a marquee for a function in our garden in the middle of one of the worst months of the whole year for rain! Fortunately the day they arrived to erect the marquee was perfect and the team worked extremely well, erecting the large marquee in just a few hours. They even brought and added a section at the last minute. They also supplied all the tables, chairs, a heater (a great idea and very fortunate under the circumstances!), right down to a coat rack for raincoats! Once the marquee had been erected, it rained literally non-stop, day and night, for five days straight, but everything was just great! There were no leaks at all and two social functions went ahead without any problems at all! The Kirkton House team were most attentive, with one person returning after a couple of days to ensure everything was alright, in spite of the awful weather!
